YOGYA TRANSFER & EXCURSION

PRAMBANAN TEMPLE (PSK EXC 01)

Enjoy Java's most beautiful Hindu shrine - the 9th century Prambanan temple. Next, we drive through paddy fields and sugarcane plantations to the two - storey Buddhist temple at Plaosan, and then go on to Java's oldest Buddhist temple at Kalasan. (3 hours)

GRAND TOUR OF PRAMBANAN (PSK EXC 02)

Visit the Hindu temple at Sambisari, only recently discovered and already restored to something like its original state. Then, drive to Kalasan temple, stop off at the two - storey Sari temple. After visiting Prambanan temple, head for Plaosan temple. From Banyunibo temple continued to the ruin palace of Ratu Boko. (5 hours)

BOROBUDUR TEMPLE TOUR (PSK EXC 03)

Discover the history and mystery of Borobudur temple, one of the world's great architectural masterpieces. We also visit Pawon temple, which is in the middle of a typical village, and Mendut temple with its magnificent statue of the Buddha Sakyamuni. (5 hours)

BOROBUDUR SUNRISE (PSK EXC 04)

Wake up call will be made in the early morning at 04.00. With your guide – drive for Borobudur temple, breaking the morning scene. Climbing up the temple for welcoming the sunrise that will give you a spectacular moment. Then, explore the temple for its great history and philosophy. Before rejoin to your coach – enjoying your simple breakfast at Manohara restaurant. On the way to Yogyakarta visit Mendut and Pawon temples near Borobudur. (5 hours) 

YOGYA CITY TOUR (PSK EXC 05)

Visit "Kraton", the magnificent palace of the Sultan. The bird Market of Ngasem and the water castle will be your nest visit after the Sultan's Palace - and then go on to a traditional home industry batik making center to see the artisans at work. Next, visit Kotagede - the original home of Yogya's silverware. See craftsmanship centuries old being practiced today. (3 hours)

MAJESTIC DIENG PLATEAU (PSK EXC 06)

An early morning departure to drive via Magelang - home of the National Army Academy - and Temanggung. Enjoy dramatic scenery as we drive through the tea and tobacco plantations of the Sindoro - Sumbing valley - some of the most spectacular countryside you will ever see. Visit Java's oldest Hindu Temples, dating from 9th century. See the active volcanic craters or take in the beauty of the Warna (coloured) and Pengilon (mirror) lakes. (10 hours)

THE SOUTH OCEAN PARANGTRITIS BEACH (PSK EXC 07)

The tour begin with a drive through the lovely countryside of the Seribu (Thousand) Hills. Enjoy a panoramic view and later a sea view. On arrival at Parangtritis, you will have leisure time to browse the beach on foot. Complete the tour with a drive to the nearby Queen Of The South Resort to enjoy romantic sunset (including hot tea/coffee) (4 Hours)

MERAPI TOUR (PSK EXC 08)

Depart from your hotel in Yogya about 03.30 AM drive to Kaliurang Highland resort. The tour will start at 04.00 AM. You will explore the depths of Kaliurang Tropical rain forest. A five hours return walk through the rain forest, through valley, gorge and river enroute to the slopes on meeting Merapi. Also see unspoiled - original and real village life, where people carry their loads on their back while at work. Experience a variety of tropical plants and fruits, birds, giant spiders, unique vegetables and the beautiful landscape in the cool mountain air. Breakfast will be served in the small bamboo hut, outside the village next to the riverbank in the open air overlooking the mountain. You will return home again at 08.00 AM (5 hours)

SOLO CITY TOUR (PSK EXC 09)

A morning drives to Solo - the Yogya's sister city, about 66 km to the east of Yogya. On arrival in Solo, we will visit the Mangkunegaran Palace with its fascinating display of gold - plated ornaments, jewelry and wooden masks. Next, browse in the Triwindhu Flea Market, on to Radya Pustaka Museum.

KOTA GEDE, OLD CAPITAL OF JAVA (PSK EXC 10)

Though Kota Gede is a little more than a village, it is steeped in history. Our morning tour explores Kota Gede's cultural and monumental heritages. The first is at Kota Gede's market that had been the center of development for centuries. Then we enjoy a leisurely walking tour through this old capital city, marvel at Kota Gede's finest example of unique 'between two gates community' of Atmo Suprobo family, wander amid kampong houses to the monolith throne of Panembahan Senopati, the founder of the second Mataram Dynasty. Later, we se see the ruins of the palace wall. From Masjid Besar (the great mosque) we may be lucky to do a pilgrimage to Kota Gede's Royal Tombs before wandering through its unique kampong which still retain its original character. Not to forget are its silversmiths, gold-plating cottage industryabd old houses of turn of the century-traditional Javanese Architecture. Walk between high walls that seems to lead nowhere, but, leads us to a Rudy Pesik's owned old house that formerly belonged to a Kota Gede's wealthy family. We visit ruins of old houses of the Kalang clan before we marvel at Anshori's home; a fine example of well preserved Kalang's House. (3 hours)

VILLAGE TOUR (PSK EXC 11)

A morning excursion, we head Southwards along jalan Parangtritis to Timbulhardjo village. Here we will see traditional herbal medicines being produced and Javanese traditional hat making. We continue to a traditional village market at Niten for a short exploration. Wander through villages to arrive at Kasongan - center of pottery before moving on to Gendeng village. Browse through countryside; stop off at Pajangan village to see wooden mask maker at work before a drive back to hotel. (4 hours)

THE ROYAL CEMETRY IMOGIRI (PSK EXC 12)

Depart for Imogiri that lies on a beautiful hill about 12 kilometers from Yogya. All the Kings of Mataram Kingdom and the Kings of Surakarta Kingdom with their family were buried in this cemetry. All visitors have to wear traditional Javanese clothes that is called in Javanese as "kemben" for woman and "peranakan" for man. (4 HOURS)

SUKUH AND CETHO TEMPLES + SANGIRAN MUSEUM (PSK EXC 13)

Drive eastwards to Yogyakarta's sister city of Solo, about 66 km from Yogyakarta. We then travel on through lovely countryside to discover the mystery of the 14th century Sukuh temple. Next, we go on up scenic, Winding Mountain road to another 14th century Hindu temple at Cetho to enjoy the beauty of its peaceful surroundings. We rejoin the coach, retrace to road to Sangiran where fossilized remains of Phitecantropus Erectus (Java Man) were found: a discovery claimed right up to today as the oldest human remains in Java. See the museum, which displays fossilized Stegadon tusks and teeth, and visit the site of excavation (10 hours)

GEDONG SONGO (PSK EXC 14)

Enjoy the beauty of The Sindoro – Sumbing valley, with coffee plantation and cascading rice terraces, as we drive up to Mt. Ungaran. Take a little exercise to get to Gedong Songo (9 buildings) temple on foot, where you can see, hear, and feel Gedong Songo’s tranquility. Retrace the road to Bandungan to see local fresh fruits and vegetables displayed in a traditional market, before moving on to Ambarawa. A short stop at coffee plantation nearby is possible to be done. (8 HOURS)

DINNER+RAMAYANA SHOW AT PURAWISATA (DIN 01)

Evening, drive for Purawisata located in the center of the city of Yogya. Dinner with Indonesia Buiffet Menu will be served at onew of the Djoglo. Live Gamelan Music and welcome dance will be shown while you enjoy your dinner. After finish the dinner, walking to the Open Air Theater, and seat on your reserved seat and starting enjoy the performance of Ramayana Ballet. If the weather is not good the performance will be moved to indoor theter nearby. (03 HOURS)

DINNER + RAMAYANA SHOW AT PRAMBANAN THEATER (PSK DIN 02)

Evening, drive for Prambanan Open Air Theater – located on the east oof Yogya. It will take 15 minutes drive. You will enjoy your dinner at Prambanan restaurant that lies at the same location of Open Air Theter. While enjoying your dinner you could admiring the Prambanan temple spotted with nice lighting. After dinner, enjoying the Ramayana Ballet Performance on your reserved special class seats at Prambanan Open Air Theater. The ramayana ballet is performed at Open Air Theater on period of May – October on certain date (03 HOURS)

DINNER at THE PRINCE’s HOUSE (PSK DIN 03)

Evening, drive for one of the Prince’s House. The family of the Prince will welcome you with a great pleasure. A traditional drink will be served while you enjoying the welcome dance. Then, you are pleased to enjoying your dinner on Javanese Menu. After dinner, seats and admiring the classical dances or Wayang Kulit or Wayang Golek. (03 HOURS)

DINNER at LOCAL RESTAURANT (PSK DIN 04)

Evening – drive to local restaurant for enjoy Indonesian dinner. After finish, drive back to your hotel for overnight.
